Sometimes You Have To Lose.

"Then why do I feel like everything is just slipping through my fingers, every single time I try to hold on something it...just fades away" Torrie muttered, with tears falling from her eyes.

John looked at Torrie in her eyes and gently wiped her tears away.

"I haven't faded away and I never will. Torrie Anne Wilson-Cena I will never leave your side no matter what. Nothing can make me leave you, we could go through the most horrible thing in the world but I'm always here for you to lean on whenever you need me."

Torrie stared at John, still with tears in her eyes but her heart fluttered from his breath taking words. She leaned her head on John's forehead.

"Why did we have to lose John?" Torrie muttered softly closing her eyes.

John shook his head, he didn't know.

"I'm not sure Tor, some things just happen for no reason." John said.

Torrie looked at John before she nodded her head.

"I'm gonna go rest for a while" Torrie muttered before she laid down, still with tears in her eyes.

John nodded as he gently stroked Torrie's hair.

"Okay." John said.

Torrie shut her eyes, as tears fell down on her pillow as she felt John's fingers through her blonde hair. He went to move but Torrie held unto his hand.

"No don't go, stay" Torrie muttered while she continued to hold his hand.

John nodded then put an arm around Torrie as he lied down next to her.

"Okay I'll stay." John said.

Torrie's eyelashes lowered down, before she looked right into John's blue eyes as she laid there next to him as his arm around was around. No words were spoken as they just laid there together.

Torrie's lips parted slightly before she looked at John no sound, only their heartbeats.

"I love you" She muttered near above a whisper.

John started stroking Torrie's hair again as he looked into her eyes.

"I love you too." John whispered.

Torrie gently placed her right hand on John's chest as she felt his body rise slowly.

"We'll be okay won't we?" Torrie asked.

John nodded.

"Yes we will." John muttered with a small smile.

Torrie opened her eyes as she looked at John's ocean eyes for a moment while they laid there together.

"How do you know?" Torrie asked softly.

"Because Tor as long as we have each other everything will be okay." John said.

Torrie looked at John, with a faint smile still with her hand on John's chest.

"I almost didn't have you though" Torrie muttered, with tears still her eyes.

John looked at Torrie as he rubbed her arm gently.

"I'm okay Torrie." John said.

Torrie lowered her head, as a tear fell down from her beaufiful green eyes.

"You stopped breathing," Torrie muttered.

John gently wiped the tear away with his thumb.

"I did?" John asked.

Torrie nodded her head, as she gulped down a single breath.

"Yeah...right...in front of me" Torrie muttered, trembling in her breath.

John looked at Torrie.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." John muttered.

Torrie stared at John, before a small smile went across her face.

"It's alright, even though it's heartbreaking and scary you do look so cute when you're unconscious though" Torrie lightly giggled.

John couldn't help but chuckle.

"How?" John asked.

"You just do, I don't know"

"Right...okay...." John chuckled softly. "That's really comforting it know" He added as he smiled at Torrie.

"I know I'm strange, but you do" Torrie giggled placing her head on John's chest enjoying their time together even though they had to lose something dear to them.

"I am strange aren't I?" Torrie asked with a sweet giggle.

John chuckled.

"Yes but in a cute way." John said.
