Sometimes You Have To Lose.

Torrie snapped her head up to John, with tears in her eyes "Don't say that!" She shouted.

"It's the truth Torrie!" John yelled.

Torrie shook her head, as she forcely took the paints out of John's hands. "No it's not, she's going to come home, so we're gonna leave it as she left it" Torrie spoke as she put a tub of red, and blue bottles of paint back down on the table.

John just watched, somehow he had to calm and help Torrie while she want in a frenzy of tears.

John walked over to Torrie.

"Sweetie calm down." John said.

Torrie swung John's hand away from her shoulder.

"No! don't tell me to calm down! how could you move them?!" Torrie yelled at John.

"Because Torrie she's not coming back." John said softly.

"She is, you're wrong now give them back, put them back on the table!" Torrie shouted but John wouldn't do it even though he saw tears falling from Torrie's eyes.

"No Torrie." John said before he started to walk away.

"John, put them back..."

"How can you do this?" Torrie asked as her voice cracked behind him.

"Because Torrie we have to face the truth." John muttered.

Torrie looked at John "You may be able to let go, I'm not!" She said firmly.

"Torrie, it's better this way" John tried to walk away, but Torrie grabbed him as they agrued and scabbled the paint fell out and splash across the wooden floor in the kitchen.

Torrie's eyes lowered down to the red, silver, gold, orange colours blend in together before a single tear fell from her eyes.

John looked down then sighed.

"Torrie I'm sorry." John said softly.

Torrie just got a cloth, and started to clean it not saying a single word but tears fell down from her eyes.

John stared at Torrie before he walked over to the table and put the paint bottles back on it.

Torrie remained on the floor before she tidied up on the split paint.

"She's not coming back is she?" Torrie asked with a faint sob.

"I...I don't know." John said with sadness in his voice.

Torrie softly wiped underneath her eyes before she went outside. She felt the wind shimmer through her honey blonde curly locks as she stood near the front door.

"Are you giving up on her?" Torrie asked softly, while she continued to stand there.

"I lost hope Tor." John said.

Torrie blinked, while she felt a gentle breeze through her curls.

"Why?" Torrie asked.

"She's not coming home that's why." John said.

"John why are you giving up? she'll be back! I thought you loved her" Torrie spoke with tears in her eyes, as she felt her and John start to fall apart.

"I do but she's not coming back." John said.

"She is, John you're wrong" Torrie spoke as she gulped down the emotion trying to stay strong.

"I love Sarah with all my heart, and I don't know about how you feel" Torrie spoke, as she narrowed her eyes a little flicking her hair unto her shoulders as she looked at John.
