"John's going to live Torrie." Katie said as she rubbed her back.

Rachel smiled then hugged her dad tighter.

"You know I think this is actually the first time that we've hugged since I tracked you down." Rachel said.

Torrie sniffled.

"I hope so" Torrie muttered. "Because I cannot go on without him..." Torrie added.

"Don't worry Tor," Lilian gently muttered as she hugged Torrie.

Torrie gulped the fear down, but it stayed with her every move she made. Torrie walked out of the room only to be stopped by Shawn.

"Well get used to it because I'm hugging you every day now" Randy gently chuckled as he hugged Rachel.

Rachel laughed.

"Thank god you're not the Great Khali or Big Show or else I'd be crushed to death by these hugs." Rachel said as she she hugged Randy back.

Shawn hugged Torrie.

"Where have you been? I've missed you." Shawn said.

"Around..." Torrie muttered, with a tear falling from her eyes.

"Torrie what's wrong? is..it what I said to John look I love your cookies..too" Torrie just burst out in tears.

Randy chuckled "Yeah I wouldn't want anything like that to happen to you" He spoke as he stroked Rachel's hair as they walked back to the hospital.

Randy saw Kayla sitting there on a chair, he turned to Rachel "You..better comfort...her...." Randy muttered to Rachel, but Rachel knew Kayla didn't even know.

"But she doesn't even know about John." Rachel whispered.

"I'm sorry I love pudding and I love your cookies too. They would make a great sandwich." Shawn said with a smile.

"We'll call it a pudwich." Shawn said.

Torrie let out a faint giggle before she wiped her eyes "No, it's not that..."

"Where's John?" Shawn asked with a smile.

Torrie stared at Shawn before she felt her heart break in what she was about to say "He's not with me.." Torrie muttered.

Rachel sighed.

"Okay." Rachel said before she walked over to Kayla.

Kayla looked up and saw Rachel then Randy.

"Dad we could use some privacy." Rachel said.

Torrie lowered her head down, as she felt herself say it so it hit her heart painly of reality.

"John's...been..."

"Yeah" Shawn smiled.

"Shot" Torrie muttered before she blinked and looked at Shawn.

Randy nodded before he patted her on the shoulder before he walked away.

"I'm so glad you two sorted it out, I agrue with my dad all the time...but I still love him very much" Kayla spoke sweetly.

Rachel nodded.

"Kayla...there's something I have to tell you." Rachel said.

Torrie nodded her head with tears in her eyes.

"A showdown with Trish, and...she..shot John...in the chest...I don't think..he's gonna survive Shawn" Torrie muttered heartbroken.

Rachel bit down on her lip.

"Kayla...your dad was shot." Rachel said.

He looked at Torrie then hugged her.

Tears rose in Kayla's blue eyes as she sat there.

"What? Rach...I know what I said..but don't say things like that" Kayla spoke as she refused to believe it.

Torrie held unto Shawn as she cried "I know! Shawn I can't live without John! He's everything to me, my world...everything!" Torrie yelled as she rested her head on his chest.

Hunter and Dave stood there in fear and shock.

"Kayla it's true, I wouldn't lie about this." Rachel said before she hugged her best friend.

Kayla stared at the wall, as she felt herself been left in the dark. Before she knew it, John could have already died since she didn't know what had happened. The young girl felt Rachel hug her tightly "No, stop it, you're lying...he hasn't he's fine" Kayla spoke as she shook her head.

Torrie just touched her silk long blonde hair in effort of comfort "I know...., Shawn...I don't...know what to do? what if..he dies?" Torrie muttered with tears falling from her eyes.

"I wish I was lying but I'm not." Rachel said.

Kayla stared at her "No, it's not...true...not dad, not my dad" Kayla said as she started to cry.

Kayla just flipped her hair down as she sat on the chair starting to cry.

Torrie nodded before she felt Shawn hug her again. Her eyelashes closed when she heard his gentle whisper "He'll come back to you Torrie" Torrie felt her grip grow on Shawn as she embraced in the corridor.

A doctor came out, causing Torrie to let go of Shawn "Is he okay?! My husband..John..is he alright? please tell me.." Torrie pleaded.

"It was touch and go but I've managed to stablise him but...he's not out of the woods yet" The doctor spoke, Torrie felt someone had collided a two by four with her heart hearing the doctors words.

"Everything will be okay Kayla." Rachel said softly.

"Where's Rachel?" Katie asked.

Kayla pushed Rachel away.

"You don't know that! easy for you to say..you're dad..hasn't been shot! you were worried about yours and all this time..mine could have dying! you have no idea! how I feel right now!" Kayla cried.

Torrie put her hand around her mouth as she heard the doctor. "Oh my god...how can..Trish have...done this?" Torrie cried in fear of losing John.

"I'm sorry about what happened to your dad but that doesn't mean you can yell at me like that. When I first saw you and told you that I hurt my dad so much all you said was oh well. I didn't say that when I found out your dad was shot, I was worried." Rachel said.
