Lives At Stake

"Torrie I'm right here, sweetie are you okay?" John asked.

Soraya arrived at the hospital in record time. "Hey everyone."

Torrie continued to touch her head, before her eyes slowly opened to see two familiar ocean blue eyes looking at her.

"...John..." Torrie gently muttered.

"See, I told you Torrie won't ever give up" Randy grinned as he held Katie.

Katie smiled at Soraya as she leaned on Randy.

"Hey." Katie said.

Matt looked at Soraya with a smile.

"Hey sweetie." Matt said.

"Yes sweetie I'm here." John said.

"I feel like I missed a lot today." She crossed to Matt and give him a quick kiss in greeting. "I see you really weren't kidding about the handcuffs." She chuckled, hugging Candice.

Then she turned to Katie and gave her a huge hug. "Congratulations Mommy, I hear it's a boy!"

Torrie closed her eyes gently for a moment before she moved her legs curling them up as she continued to lie on the ground.

"Is...it okay...if I borrow...one of your cars?" Torrie asked, with a weak giggle.

"I don't know, are you going to wreak it?" John asked.

Katie hugged Soraya back.

"Thank you, he's sleeping in his bed. You can hold him if you want." Katie said with a smile.

"Really?" Soraya beamed, before turning to lift the baby into her arms. "Wow, Randy he looks like you already? What's his name?"

"Robert Anthony Orton." Katie said.

"R.A.O." Soraya tested his initials out. "It'll work." She smiled and cooed at the baby. "He's beautiful, Katie. You must be on cloud nine."

Jeff smniled as he looked at his nephew over Soraya's shoulder "Wow, he does look like Randy" Jeff smiled

"John?" Torrie whined faintly.

John just chuckled softly thanking god she's still with him "You can borrow any you want," John spoke as he softly and gently pulled Torrie up in his arms.

"Thanks, sorry I had a blonde moment I fell down here and hit my head on the rock" Torrie said as she just remembered what had happened.

Flashback.

Torrie stared up at the roof, then screamed "John! help!" but she knew he wasn't going to get here in time so she climbed out just as the roof fell but the roof falling caused Torrie to fall down the hill and then collide her head with the rock sending her body into darkness for hours.

Candice nudged Matt. "Hey Dodobrain who loses the keys to the handcuffs. Want to try and detach ourselves from one another?"

"Are you okay? Maybe you should go to the hospital." John said.

Katie nodded.

"Trust me I am." Katie said with a wide smile.

"Okay fine lets find someone who will uncuff us." Matt said.

"I'm fine...." Torrie muttered, she went to try and stand up but fell into John's arms. She moaned feeling her head throb because of the collison of the rock and her head.

"We'll be right back." Candice said. "Matt and I are going to attempt to unleashed ourselves." She joked, holding up their handcuffed wrists.

Soraya chuckled. "Good luck!"

"Maybe you can get Matt a new brain too." Katie joked.

"Oh so funny." Matt said with sarcasm.

"I really think I should take you to the hospital." John said.

Torrie remained in John's arms as her lips parted with a soft moan.

"Oww...John my head hurts" She whined to her husband.

Dave, Hunter and Shawn just smiled happy to see her alive.

John picked Torrie up.

"You're going to the hospital." John said.

"Well Bro, this was your bright idea." Candice teased. "Though you know I love spending time with you."

Soraya giggled. "Just not every waking second right?"

"Well, I've got a husband, baby and dog at home." Candice shrugged. "And Matt's got his girlfriend and dog at home. So no, not every waking second."

Torrie stayed in John's arms, with her right arm around his the back of his neck as he supported the back of her knees keeping her safe and secure. They got to hill, and Torrie gasped "My car!" Torrie whined.

Matt looked at Candice then dragged her out of the room with him.

"I'll buy you a new one." John said.

"Ow, Matt, not so hard!" Candice whined. "I was kidding!"

Torrie nodded, "My black headband...did you get it?" Torrie asked while she stayed happily in her hero's strong arms.

"Thank god all I can say" Dave said to Hunter as they walked behind.

"Sure you were you meanie." Matt said.
