Lives At Stake

Torrie remained her limb, motionless body while she didn't breathe. John felt his heart start to break again, when he thought she would be okay and now it felt like she was being snatched again.

"Is torrie dead?" Cody assked confused to Lilian.

"I'm confused"

"I would have had a camera if I knew he was coming out today, he wasn't due for another two weeks." Matt said.

"You know if you uncuff you and Candice you can hold Robert." Katie said.

Matt smiled then put his hands in his pockets, searching for the key.

"Any day now, Matt." Candice chuckled.

"Anything?" Hunter asked.

John shook his head as he lowered his head down with tears in his eyes as he stared at lifeless Torrie.

Matt chuckled.

"There's a small problem." Matt said.

"Torrie I'm begging you wake up." John pleaded.

Torrie just remained the same, unreponsive but the blood leaked from the cut on her forehead.

Dave buried his head in his hands, as he thought of Candice.

John looked at Torrie before he kissed her passionately on the lips.

"Oh no," Candice couldn't help but giggle. "Matt this stuff only happens in the movies. Come on, don't tell me you lost the key?"

"Keep trying, John!" Hunter urged as he dial 911. "Don't give up on her!"

"Come on Torrie, wake up." Dave whispered. "Don't do this to us, not your family, or your friends. We need you."

"I think I did." Matt said.

"Matt you are an idiot." Katie said with a chuckle.

"Well, this is fun." Candice laughed. "You know, when I said I wanted to spend more time together, I didn't mean lock yourself to me for eternity."

Matt chuckled.

"I wonder what Soraya will say about this." Matt said.

Torrie's head slightly moved only because John moved her head when he kissed her softly but it was too no avail she still didn't wake up or breathe.

"Only Matt" Randy muttered as he chuckled.

"I don't know if John and I are friends anymore..." Randy said.

"I don't know, but you're explaining this to Dave." Candice continued to laugh. "She'll take it better than him."

Candice looked up at Randy. "John's going through the same thing I was. He'll come around."

"I should ask her." Matt said as he pulled his cell phone out then called Soraya.

Katie looked at Randy then took his hand and gently rubbed it with her thumb.

"Candice is right." Katie said.

"Torrie please just breath." John said.

Soraya was at home, having been in the basement all morning doing laundry with Lucas, when she finally heard her cellphone ring, smiling seeing Matt's name on the caller ID, she hastily picked up. "Hey Baby, where are you?"

"The hospital, Katie had the baby two weeks early after getting into a car accident and in case you've watched the news Torrie's still alive." Matt said.

"No, I've been doing laundry, since we've put it off so long." Soraya said. "They thought Torrie was dead? Katie had the baby? You're just calling me now?"

When everything stayed the same, a rush of wind blew in the atomsphere. John lifted Torrie's lifeless body from the ground and just held unto her pressing her limb frame closer to him.

"I'll ring Dave to see how she is, knowing Tor she's probably worried about her looks or...Katie and the baby" Candice chuckled.

"Um...yeah. Oh and Candice and I are handcuffed to each other." Matt said.

"Torrie please wake up." John said as he held Torrie tightly in his arms.

"Way to keep me out of the loop...and, wait, you and Candice are what?!" Soraya exclaimed.

Dave flinched seeing Candice's name appear on his caller ID. "Oh no."

"What?" Hunter said.

"It's Candice." Dave said painfully. "I can't tell her, not after what happened, I can't tell her."

Hunter sighed. "Give me the phone."

Torrie made no movement she just stayed in John's arms. He scrunched his fingers in Torrie's hair as he felt tears fall down from his eyes thinking how cruel can this world be to him.

"We're handcuffed so we could spend more time together." Matt said.

"Want to come to the hospital and meet your future nephew?" Matt asked.

"She just..won't breathe!" John yelled as he held Torrie closer, causing Candice to hear.

"Matt..." Soraya frowned. "How exactly did you and Candice get handcuffed?"

"Thank you, Hunter." Dave handed his cellphone. "I just can't do that to her."

"I know." Hunter said, before answering the phone. "Hey Candice Sweetheart." He greeted her gently.

"She just..won't breathe!" John yelled as he held Torrie closer, causing Candice to hear.

There was sharp intake of breath on the other line. "Who won't breathe, Hunter?"
