Lives At Stake

"Come on Torrie, open your eyes." Dave urged.

"Now, I've really got to apologize for losing my mind earlier." Candice said, wiping her eyes dry.

"Come on, lets go inside." Matt said before he opened the car door and him and Candice got out.

Torrie just continued to lie there, making no movements but the blood leaked out of her cut on her forehead.

"I've never had this much trouble getting out of a car before." Candice laughed.

Matt chuckled as they walked into the hospital then went to Katie's room ater they found out where it was at the front desk. They stood outside of the room.

"Ready to go in?" Matt asked Candice.

"Okay this doesn't look good," Hunter muttered.

"But she's alive and I found her!" Shawn spoke.

John continued to kneel down by his motionless wife, just then her chest stopped moving as her body just turned limb.

"No," Candice sighed. "But if you are, I have no choice." She held up their joined wrists. "Maybe I should get my knuckles looked at while we're here too." She said noticing the dried blood. "Dave's gonna kill me for that one."

Matt nodded then opened the door and peeked in. He saw a baby sleeping in it's bed then smiled before looking at Candice.

"Katie already had the baby." Matt said.

"Matt what are you doing?" Katie asked.

"I came to see you with...Candy." Matt said before he opened the door and walked in with Candice.

Katie looked at Candice then looked down.

"Torrie!" John yelled when he saw her stop breathing.

Torrie just laid there, with her eyes closed not breathing.

"Get her out of here" Randy fumed.

"Look," Candice sighed and ignored Randy. "Katie, I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I never really blamed you, I was just...messed up over Torrie and you were the easiest to lash out at. It doesn't excuse my behavior, but I am sorry. And I hope that someday you can forgive me for it. On the good news front though, they found Torrie outside the car...she's alive."

"Plus she can't leave, we're handcuffed together." Matt said with a smile.

Katie looked at Candice then smiled widely.

"Torrie's alive?" Katie asked.

"She somehow crawled out of the car." Candice explained. "Dave, John and Shawn found her."

Torrie continued to lie there, while her limb body remained on the ground maybe she wasn't going to be alive for much longer.

"Oh no!" Shawn yelled.

"She's not breathing!" Hunter yelled.

"Cena, do CPR!" Dave shouted.

"I should have known better, it is Torrie after all, she's resilient." Candice said. "I really am sorry, for the things I said Katie, not only were they unwarranted, but I never meant them anyway, I was just...messed."

"Oh my god that's amazing! Randy did you hear that? Torrie's alive!" Katie exclaimed but just saw Randy glare at Candice.

Katie stared for a couple second then turned back to Candice and Matt before she looked at her baby and smiled.

"It's okay, I understand. I'm just happy Torrie is alive and so is my cute little baby, his name's Robert Anthony Orton." Katie said.

John looked at Torrie before he started mouth to mouth on Torrie.

Torrie didn't move she just laid not breathing.

"Oh wow!" Candice smiled at the baby. "He's precious!"

"He's already acting like Randy, he did Randy's arms stretched out pose five minutes ago." Katie said with a giggle.

Matt smiled at his nephew.

"Ha, that's adorable!" Candice giggled.

Torrie laid there not moving, or breathing maybe the happiness was going to be short lived.

"Torrie come on." John said before he did mouth to mouth again.

Torrie continued to lie there while John did his best to revive her but Torrie wouldn't respond.

Dave, Shawn and Hunter just stared praying that Torrie wouldn't die after they just spread the joyful news.

"Torrie come on please." John pleaded.

"How exactly did you two get handcuffed?" Katie asked.

"I handcuffed us together." Matt said.

"We needed to be here earlier, you always have a camera." Candice nudged Matt. "And it's was all Matt's idea. I was just being carted off then handcuffed."
