"Because I love Torrie, okay I'm married and have a children now the love we had died a very long time ago, but that does not mean! I want you to die" John stressed desperately at Liz.

"You still care?" She asked, taking one step forward.

"Of course I do, Liz nothing or no one can take your place in my heart you were the first woman I fell in love with, but I'm sorry I found someone I loved more than anything in this world, I would do anything for Torrie there's nothing I wouldn't do for Torrie" John spoke the truth.

Liz just stared at John, while the rain continued to pour down.

"Liz time has moved on, so why not move on with it? that guy you left me for in the past why not be with him?" John asked, running out of options.

Liz lowered her head.

"Because.....I love you,"

"I'm sorry, but I can't be with you but I do still care so please just...take my hand, come away from there" John pleaded.

Liz just stared at him, while she felt the rain drops hit the concrete. John held out his right hand to his ex, hoping she'll take it.

"Liz please, I won't leave Torrie just don't do this," John spoke, while he felt the rain land on his head, roll down his face soaking his shirt.

"Only if you leave Torrie," Liz spoke.

"I'm not leaving Torrie." John said.

"Well then it's better this way," Liz muttered turning back to the bridge.

"No! Liz don't! please don't! look if things were different then..." John spoke.

"Then what?" Liz asked.

Torrie continued to sleep through the night not having the faintest idea what was going on right now.

"Then maybe we would be together but I love Torrie." John said.

"I just can't do it anymore," Liz cried.

"Just get away from there, okay that's not the way to escape Liz please," John pleaded, Liz stared at John then at his hand.

"Please Liz don't jump." John said.

Liz looked at John, watching the rain drip down from his stressed face.

"I'm sorry," She spoke.

"Just take my hand okay, please" John pleaded once more. Liz stepped forward, she went to take John's hand but instead she scratched John with her nails leaving him with a scatch on the side of his face making him yelp out in surprise.

Liz tore his tags off his neck, before she drew closer to the edge again.

"Not all fairytales have a happy ending John," She spoke, her foot slipped John managed to grab her necklace but it snapped and she fell off leaving John alone on the bridge.

John's eyes widened.

"Oh my god." John said.

John just stood there frozen, while the rain continued to pour. He moved closer to the bridge, before he fell down to his knees at the view, it just made him feel sick to his stomach.

He wished to god he would just wake up, and see Torrie sleeping beside him but as the rain continued to pour he realised it's not a dream.

He felt the blood drip down from his face, from Liz's nails. It was then he realised he's fallen for the biggest, deadly trap of all time.

John gulped.

"The bitch tricked me." John muttered.

John lowered his head in his hands, as he cursed to himself. He should have known what Liz was up too, just another game? just another lie, a mind game.

But it could destory everything in John's life.

John stayed on the bridge, with his head in his hands rubbing his fingers on his face trying to think what to do? all he knew this didn't look good for him at all.

He just witnessed the woman, he had first ever loved just fall to her death in a cruel game. All John could think about right now, is Torrie and his children.

"I shouldn't have..ever left..." John muttered.

He then heard a scream, he peeked his head up to see a couple passing by run over to his EX's dead body.
John got to his feet, before he ran back to his car. Once he was inside, his hands just gripped around the steering wheel while he felt the emotion rise within him.

Torrie's eyes opened, while she heard the rain drops drip off the ledge of her bedroom roof. Torrie turned to the side John normally sleeps, and she didn't see him anywhere.

"John" Torrie muttered looking around, but still she didn't see him.

Torrie slid out of the bed, she put on her white silk dressing gown before she walked into the hallway. As she crossed the hallway, a smile went across her face while she saw Kayla sleeping in her bed. Torrie walked down the stairs before she opened the living room door.

"John," She muttered, she continued to walk until she saw a posted note on the table.

"Back in a bit xJohnx" Torrie smiled before she opened the fridge, and got herself a glass of water. She sat on the sofa, watching an movie as she waited for John.

Torrie picked up her glass of water, with a smile on her face she had no idea what had happened. John stopped the car at home, still trying to get over what had happened. John leaned his head back, before he saw the flowers he had bought for Torrie earlier resting on the passenger seat.

He opened his car door, walking slowly up the stairs he opened the front door.

He walked in with the flowers in his right hand. He turned into the living room, there he saw his beautiful wife alseep on the sofa with the television still on. John just stared at Torrie, while she slept peacefully throughout the night.

John sighed softly before he put the flowers on the coffee table.

Torrie continued to sleep on the sofa, John sat down next to her sleeping figure. He ran his fingers through her blonde hair while he watched her sleep.

"You're back," Torrie muttered with her eyes closed.

"Yeah." John said.

Torrie opened her eyes slightly, before she touched John's hand gently.

"Where did you go?" She muttered.

John just stared, while he gulped thinking about what just happened an hour ago.

"I...went to the store." John said.

Torrie looked at the uncertain look in John's eyes. She sat up slightly, and glanced at John.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

John just nodded.

Torrie continued to stare. "What?" She asked, she then reached out for John's hand.

"Talk to me," Torrie gently muttered as he sat next to her. He couldn't let her know what had happened and how much trouble he could be in.

"There's nothing to talk about." John said.

"Really?"

John just nodded.

"John, come on I can see it's something please just tell me what's bothering you" Torrie spoke.

"Tor just drop it." John said.

Torrie looked at John.

"I'm not gonna drop it, when I can see something is wrong with you" Torrie spoke back.

Torrie just blinked stepping back from his rough tone.

"I just wanna know what's wrong?" Torrie asked.

"Nothing! Torrie for god sake!" John snapped before he walked past her, and slammed the flowers in her hands.

Torrie just lowered her head, to the banquet flowers in her hands. John just walked upstairs, with the past going through his head like a broken record.

John came to the stairs, he saw Kayla's room open. He stared for a moment before he walked in. He saw her sleeping peacefully in bed, holding unto her teddy bear and her diary slipping through her fingers.

John just continued to stare at her sitting beside her in the dark.

John sighed as he continued staring at Kayla.
