Case Of The Ex.

"But it's more fun watching you sleep." John said.

Torrie listened to John, before she moved herself back on John's chest. John's fingers went through her blonde hair, wanting to hold Torrie close.

"Okay," Torrie spoke while her right hand gently touched John's chest while she fell back asleep in the night.

John continued to watch for a moment, before he felt his eyes flicker feeling tired.

John gently kissed Torrie on the head before he closed his eyes.

While Torrie slept happily, safely in John's arms as they laid asleep together. Like the night starting to descend. John's phone went off again, John was woken up again, he went to yell at HBK but then saw a voicemessage on his phone.

John looked at Torrie for a moment, before he gently moved her from his chest. John got off the bed, and got dressed before he pressed the button to listen to his voicemessage. John stood in the kitchen, before he heard the voice of his former flame.

"John I'm sorry for everything I did, the pain I caused you....I just want it all to stop...it's too late I know that, I hope you and Torrie are very happy life together, because..you deserve it. It's too late for me, for you to save me it's far too late I realise that so goodbye," Liz's voice echoed through his phone.

John just blinked, before he perked his eyelashes for a moment wondering what she meant.

"Too late...to...save me.." Is the words that stuck in John's head. Once it hit him, he pushed up his back before he dashed to the door.

"Oh what are you doing?" John muttered, he got in his car and quickly drove off.

Torrie continued to sleep peacefully in the bed.

John watched the rain hammer down on his windsheild late at night. He opened the door, before he looked around somewhere he knew from his past. He turned his head, before through the rain smashing down on his face he saw her standing on top of a bridge.

"Oh great," John muttered, before he ran up the path to the bridge.

Liz just looked down where she stood, until she heard a deep voice behind her.

"What the hell are you doing?!" John yelled.

"Go away," Liz screamed back, taking a step back.

"No!" John yelled.

"Get away John! I swear I'll jump if you come any closer!" Liz warned.

"Don't you dare jump." John said.

"Why not? it's not like you would even care" Liz spoke while the rain poured down on them.

"Liz I don't love you but I do still care about you." John said.

"Don't lie John, I know you'd rather have me die right now so I'll be out of your life" Liz spoke.

"That's not true." John said.

"Yes it is," Liz spoke as she turned away.

"No...no it's not, Liz just don't move" John pleaded.

"Why can't you love me?" She asked.

"Because I can't Liz but that doesn't mean you should die." John said.

"Liz you can find another man." John said.

"Why can't you?" Liz asked, with a single tear falling from her eyes.

"Because....I love Torrie, okay....everything, nothing can ever change that" John muttered, while he felt the rain pour down.

"But..I love you too," Liz muttered back.

John just looked at Liz, as he felt torn standing in the rain.

"John, I love you..." Liz spoke in the rain.

"But I love Torrie." John said.

Liz let a tear fall down, before she turned back to the edge of the bridge.

"Liz don't jump!" John yelled.

"It's too late..." Liz Muttered, trapping John exactly where she wanted him.

"You can find another man." John said.

"I don't want any other man! I want you!" She screamed.

"The love we shared is long gone Liz." John said.
