Not What It Used To Be

Torrie brushed back her blonde hair unto her shoulders as she took a seat in one of hers and Trish's favourite restaurants. It been a while since Torrie and Trish had seen each other, due to Trish's break up with Randy, and her new man Ron didn't like Torrie that much so she and Trish had drifted apart.

Torrie let out a sigh, until she heard a cheerful voice enter her mind and that's when she saw her, true best friend..the one that was her maid of honour, the same woman she had almost died for the one Torrie would never let down.

Miss Trish Stratus.

"OMG TRISH!" Torrie shot up from her seat with a very bright smile across her face.

Trish just looked at Torrie, and didn't seem so thrilled to see her.

"Hey." Trish said before she sat down.

Torrie waited for Trish to hug her but Trish just sat down. Torrie blinked slightly before took her seat.

"So how have you been?" Torrie muttered, with a small smile but Trish just looked at the menu.

"Good, that brat Rachel hasn't done any criminal yet has she?" Trish asked.

Torrie looked at Trish.

"No, and don't call her that Trish she's your daughter," Torrie spoke.

"She is a brat and I can call her whatever I want to." Trish said.

"Trish what is the matter with you? I haven't seen in months and you don't seem happy to see me" Torrie spoke.

"Tor I don't have time to get on a plane and come here just to talk to you." Trish said.

"Thank god Rachel's traveling with Randy. That annoying brat always got into trouble." Trish said.

"She's your daughter, Trish teenagers they get into trouble." Torrie spoke.

"Kayla always gets into trouble, but John and I..don't call her a brat" Torrie spoke.

"Whatever," Trish scoffed as she read the menu, Torrie leaned forward and took the the menu from Trish's face.

"Torrie! I haven't got time for this!" Trish snapped, Torrie went on to say something before she saw two rings on Trish's finger.

"Oh my god... you're married" Torrie muttered with shock.

"Well duh." Trish said as she rolled her eyes.

Torrie's green eyes started to fill with tears, hurt from how Trish was acting.

"Why wasn't I invited..." Torrie muttered.

"It wasn't a big wedding. Plus I didn't want you there." Trish said.

Torrie looked at Trish, the last bit of her sentence took Torrie by surprise.

"Why wouldn't...you...want me there," Torrie asked in a timid voice.

"Because Torrie I just didn't. Why does it matter?" Trish asked.

Torrie looked at Trish, suddenly ordering something didn't even enter Torrie's mind.

"What's it matter?! Of course it matters, It matters to me Trish I am your best friend aren't I?" Torrie asked.

"I have a new best friend." Trish said.

Torrie stared at Trish.

"What?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

"I have a new best friend." Trish said as she put her menu down and looked at Torrie without a care in the world.

Torrie stared at Trish, before she lowered her head down not wanting to show the tears in her eyes.

"Ooh, well as long as you're happy" Torrie muttered.

"Yeah I am." Trish said.

She looked at the waitress.

"I'll take a coffee to go." Trish said.

"Sure thing miss," The waitress spoke.

Torrie sat there with tears in her eyes, she smiled to stop them falling.

"Want to hear some good news?"

Trish just turned to Torrie, with no excitment or anything in her expression.

"I'm..pregnant.." Torrie said.

"Good for you. Don't bring it near Rachel, maybe she won't end up like her." Trish said.

Torrie stared at Trish before she gulped.

"Ooh, Next Saturday we're all planning a surprise party for John O was wondering if you'd like to come, it will be great to see you again to a lot of people" Torrie said with a faint smile.

"I don't want to go." Trish said.

Torrie's ever so faint smile faded.

"Why not? It's John everyone would love to see you" Torrie spoke, trying not to show in her voice she was indeed hurt from Trish's actions.
