Not What It Used To Be

"I really don't care." Trish said.

"Trish please come, it won't mean a lot to me if you did," Torrie spoke with a small grin across her face.

"Like I said I don't care." Trish said.

She then grabbed a bag and put it on the table.

"Here, next time you see Randy give him these. They're pictures and videos of Rachel when she was little, he might care for them but I don't." Trish said.

Torrie looked at Trish, and then at the bag of photos and a few videos.

"Trish why are you being like this? I don't understand I...thought.."

"What?" Trish snapped.

Torrie just lowered her head down.

"Ooh by the way this time it is John's right?"

"What?" Torrie asked with a hurt tone in her voice.

"The baby." Trish said.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't since you're such a slut." Trish said.

Torrie's eyes grew with tears, she gently touched her blonde hair with a lost look in her eyes.

"Why are you being like this to me? What have I done to you for?" Torrie asked confused.

"All you've done is waste my time." Trish said before she snatched her coffee then stood up.

Torrie just looked at Trish.

"Ooh Cassie and I are going to Malibu by the way, on that week so...you know what just don't contact me again," Trish spoke harshly.

Torrie slowly nodded her head.

"I thought we were best friends till the end" She softly muttered.

"Well that stupid wasted friendship ends now." Trish said before she walked out.

Torrie just sat there, with tears falling from her eyes as she watched Trish walk away.

"Thank you," Torrie muttered, before she slipped on her coat and grabbed her handbag.

Torrie just walked down the corridor, brushing her tears away with the smooth tip of her finger since she was meeting John.

"See I told you, here on time," John said with a grin.

Torrie just stared at John, hiding her tears under her fake smile.

"What's wrong?" John asked.

Torrie just shook her head.

"Nothing, nothing at all" She spoke, trying to smile wider but the tears rose in her eyes.

"What's that?" John asked as he looked at the large bag in Torrie's hand.

"Just...a present...from Trish" Torrie muttered.

"Ohh" John spoke.

Torrie just nodded.

"How did it go? how is she?" John asked, Torrie just stared before she started to cry not able to smile anymore.

"Torrie what's wrong?" John asked.

Torrie just lowered her head down, before she leaned on John's chest crying.

"Tor what happened?" John asked.

"I don't...want to...talk about it.." Torrie muttered.

John put his arms around Torrie while she cried.

"Sweetheart come on it's me you can tell me,"

Torrie closed her eyes, as a single tear fell down from her eyes.

"She said some really hurtful things, it was like everything we did, everything we had being true friends..just didn't matter to her anymore.." Torrie cried on John's chest.

"I don't...want to...talk about it.." Torrie muttered.

John put his arms around Torrie while she cried.

"Sweetheart come on it's me you can tell me,"

Torrie closed her eyes, as a single tear fell down from her eyes.

"She said some really hurtful things, it was like everything we did, everything we had being true friends..just didn't matter to her anymore.." Torrie cried on John's chest.

"Tor I'm so sorry." John said as he hugged Torrie.

Torrie just gripped her hand on John's black t shirt.

"I just don't understand what I did wrong..." Torrie muttered as she had tears stream down her face.

"You didn't do anything wrong Torrie. She just changed and not for the better." John said.

"But why? I don't understand she was so cold, the things she said about her own daughter..Rachel...and me" Torrie muttered.

"What did she say?" John asked.

"Called Rachel a brat once or twice, and just spoke to coldly about her and gave me all the pictures and videos of Rachel everything she had" Torrie spoke.

"Ooh what's the matter with her?" John asked.

"I don't know," Torrie muttered.

"What did she say about you?"

"Me?...it don't.."

"Tor tell me" John pressed with his hand on her arm as he held her in his arms.

"Called me a slut, and asked if the baby was yours" Torrie muttered.
