Friday Night Fights

"Because I'm too busy, woopping my daddy's butt" Kayla teased with a smile.

"Sorry Candi" Torrie spoke, Candice smiled assuring her it's alright. Torrie sighed and knocked again wanting for an answer.

"Thanks Trish, good luck with Joey. Tell him I'll buy him a new toy if he goes to bed for you." Dave said before hanging up.

He rubbed his temples before dialling Torrie's cellphone number.

"Kayla be quite unless you want to stay grounded." John said.

Kayla giggled.

"Someone's sore loser," She continued to tease.

"Young lady you are already in enough trouble, for breaking your curfew"

"I thought it was saying I was sleeping over Ella's she said she was staying here to her parents, we really went to a party" Kayla spoke.

John went silent he didn't know that at all. He slowly turned her head back to his daughter. "What?"

"Wait you didn't know?" Kayla asked.

John shook his head.

"Ooh,...so how long am I grounded now?" Kayla asked biting down her lip gently.

"We could always camp out in the hallway." Candice suggested to Torrie with a laugh.

John looked at Kayla and was about to answer when he hear Torrie's cell phone ring. He walked to the table it was on then answered it.

"Hello?" John asked.

"John, man, it's Dave. Please tell me Candice is with you?! I'm freaking out here. We had a fight earlier, and she walked out on me. She's not with Trish or Matt and now I have no clue where she is." Dave said hurriedly.

"No, the only person with me is Kayla. Torrie went out but left her cell phone." John said.

He glared at his daughter since the tv was blasting like crazy.

"Kayla turn the tv down." John said.

"Hey! haven't done that in a while" Torrie spoke with a laugh.

She sat down against the wall waiting for the door open. She pulled out a box of various dark carmel chocolates. She opened the box, and slipped one in her mouth.

"Want one? honey chocy solves everything" Torrie said with a smile extending the box to Candice.

Kayla crept a few steps, before she pulled back by the light pink jumper she had on by John.

"I'm not done with you," John said, Kayla just sat on the bed folding her arms.

"Shit!" Dave moaned. "Oh my God, if something happens to her...I'll never forgive myself...for whatever it was I even did in the first place. Where the hell could she be?! Oh God...this is not good!"

Candice smiled, accepting the offered candy. "Sure thanks."

"I'm sure she's fine." John said.

He walked to the door to try to get away from the noise of the tv. John opened the door and grabbed the key card before closing the door. He turned then saw Candice.

"Hey Candice, Dave is worried sick about you." John said.

"Oh finally" Torrie spoke looking at John.

Candice just gave John a look, much to say don't tell Dave she's here.

"Baby want a chocolate?" Torrie asked extending the box to John.

Candice turned away from Torrie and frowned. "Well he shouldn't have been an ass then. John, don't tell him I'm here. I don't want to deal with him now."

"Dave she's not anywhere near me." John said.

"Thank you." Candice murmured.

Torrie looked at John, with a small smile even though she really started to wonder what had gone on between Dave and Candice.

She went in the living room, "Kayla turn that down!" Torrie spoke instantly.

"Ugh, but it's the Climb soundtrack on Hannah Montana Movie" Kayla whined.

John stepped in, still talking to Dave he had to lie to the animal.

"Ah, Son of a bitch." Dave cursed. "Where could she be?"

"I don't know...Dave, I gotta go...and murder my daughter..." John lied as he heard the soundtrack nearly shake the walls.

"Well shout at, Kayla turn it down now" John said.

"But..."

"You are in enough trouble"

"Still haven't told me how long I'm grounded till? you love me that much I'm not grounded at all thanks daddy!" Kayla beamed, she went to leave the bedroom but John pulled her back.

"Sorry Candi, Kayla has been under house arrest since she punched a girl in her class" Torrie sighed.

"It's all right." Candice assured her. "Soon enough, I'll be having some issues with Aidan."

"God they grow up so fast," Torrie said with a weak laugh.

"I know, I want Aidan to stay a baby forever. He's going to be walking soon and he's starting to teeth." Candice sighed.

"I don't know. What happened?" John asked.

"John," Dave sighed. "I don't even know. I had this all planned out. Kelly has Aidan for the night, so I thought Candice and I could go out, having a whole evening to ourselves. But when we got back to the hotel from dinner she was seriously peeved at me, then she was crying and storming out. I don't get it!"

"Maybe she's pregnant again. That reminds me of Torrie everytime she's pregnant and of course the hard objects flying towards my head." John said.
