Friday Night Fights

Dave Bautista was beyond frustrated. Tonight was the first night he and his wife had all to themselves. Aidan was spending the night with Kelly and Evan, and Dave had planned a romantic evening for himself and his wife.

He still wasn't sure how it had all gone to hell or where he screwed up.

"I still don't understand what you're so upset about!" He snapped.

"That's because you're a pigheaded jerk!" Candice retorted, mortified to find tears welling in her eyes.

She grabbed her overnight bag and headed for the door.

"Where the hell are you going?" Dave demanded.

"I don't know, but I'm sure as hell am not staying here with you!" She exclaimed tearfully, before leaving their hotel room and slamming the door behind her.

She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts, she accidentally stumbled into someone.

"Whoa hey Candy" Torrie Wilson Cena's voice trailed off to see her in tears in the hallway.

"Honey are you okay?" Torrie asked gently stepping closer to Candice.

Candice hastily swiped at her tears. "I'm sorry, Tor." She mumbled. "I didn't mean to run into you."

Torrie looked at Candice, with a soft smile on her face.

"It's alright honey, I was on my way down to lobby to get Marley and Me, John's run out of excuses not to watch it wit me" Torrie spoke with a giggle, trying to lighten the mood.

Concern formed in Torrie's eyes when she saw one of her closest friends in tears.

Back in the hotel room Batista was ready to explode once Candice walked out.

"Damn it!" He roared. "What the fuck did I do? Shit!"

"Aw crap, who'd she'd go to?" He muttered reaching for his cell phone.

Dave had taken the night off from the Smackdown shows to be with Candice, so he knew she wasn't with Kelly or Jeff, or even Hunter.

"Think Dave, who'd she'd go to on the RAW roster..." He struggled to see through his frustration. "Matt." He said firmly before dialing the older Hardy's cellphone number.

"Oh." Candice stammered, trying to force a smile. "Finally conned him into then."

Torrie looked at Candice.

"Yeah....well..." Torrie stopped in her words when she saw a single tear fell down from Candice's eyes.

"Hey, hey ooh hun come here" Torrie spread her arms out to hug Candice.

Candice's lip quivered and she hugged Torrie tightly while letting the tears pour down her face. "Sorry." She murmured. "I don't want to ruin your night."

Matt was at home playing a game with his sister Katie.

"Katie just give up already." Matt said.

"No. You're only saying that because you're losing." Katie said.

The phone then rang.

"Katie get the phone." Matt said.

"No, it's your house. You get the phone." Katie said.

"I'm your older brother now get the phone." Matt said.

"You only want me to get the phone because you're a loser at this game." Katie said.

"You're closer to the phone." Matt said.

Katie groaned then grabbed the phone.

"The idiot Matt Hardy's residence, Katie speaking." Katie said.

Dave huffed out an anxious breath. "Hey Katie, it's Dave. Is Candice with you and Matt?"

"Ohh, don't be silly" Torrie managed a small giggle as she hugged Candice.

"You're one of my girlfriends Candi, I'm here for you no matter what" Torrie assured her, brushing back Candice's hair unto her shoulders.

"Come on you can stay with me and John tonight, Kay would love to see you" Torrie said with a smile.

"No. Why?" Katie asked.

She pulled her controller as Matt tried to steal it from her.

"Matt you cheater! If you don't stop I will kick you." Katie warned.

Candice let a small smile curve her lips. "Thanks Torrie. I'd appreciate that. I just hate Dave right now, he's such a jerk tonight."

Dave swore. "We got into a fight and she walked out on me. Now I don't know where she is. I was hoping she went to Matt. Damn it!"

"What was the fight about?" Katie asked as she kicked Matt's arm.

"Ooh a lover's tiff, John and I have had about...567,2300 of them but always make up in the end" Torrie spoke with a small smile.

She wrapped her right arm around Candice's shoulder assuring the Candy Coated Diva she's not alone.

That's the thing, I'm not even sure. All of a sudden she got got really mad at me, when I tried to ask her about it, she blew up at me and then started crying before she walked out." Batista agitatedly paced back and forth. "Hunter, Kelly and Jeff aren't in the vicinity for her to go to, and if she's not with Matt...I don't know where'd she go."

"Thanks Torrie. I just couldn't deal with it tonight." Candice leaned into her friend.

"Would you like me to call her cell phone for you?" Katie asked.

"Ah, Katie that would great! You're a lifesaver...it would..." Dave groaned when he noticed the silver device on the bed. "Except she left it here...great."

"Don't say another word, but...I'm afraid we're watching Marley and Me" Torrie spoke to Candice as they walked down the lobby.

Candice finally laughed. "I could use a cute comedy right now. Dogs are always good when you're sad. I'd be snuggled up with Rome if we were at home."

"Great now I can't ask her what you did to make her upset." Katie said.

Dave let out a slight chuckle. "Your guess is as good as mine. Does Matt know where else she'd go if not him?"
