A Sister's Confession

Carmin sat on the park bench with a worried look in her eyes and in her heart. She had a secret that she had to tell her brother that could ruin their relationship.

For the first time since she'd come back she didn't smile when she saw him approaching.

"Hey sis" he told coming up to her

"Hey." Carmin said in a shaky voice.

"what's with the fragile voice?" he asked

"Cody, sit down we need to talk." Carmin told him.

"oh no... those words are never good"

"Cody, I need you to promise me something." Carmin said.

"What is it"

"Promise me you'll never hate me." Carmin said.

"Of course I won't" he said

"You're my sister, my blood, I can't hate you, ever"

"Cody, do you remember the day I came back when I was telling you what you missed in my life and you asked if I had any other secrets and I said no?" Carmin asked.

"Yes"

"Well, I kind of lied to you." Carmin said, turning away from her brother.

"Kinda as in a lot I assume" he told in the same tone he has been using

"Cody, there's another reason I left home." Carmin said.

"Why is that, and don't turn away from me, come on you can trust me"

Carmin turned back to face her brother with tears in her eyes.

"Cody, I'm bisexual." Carmin said.

Cody grinned, "And? Is that it?"

"Yeah." Carmin said.

"I left cause I was afraid of what daddy would think." Carmin said.

"Well for starters, I'm fine with it" cody told

"Dad, I don't what he would think?" Cody told honestly

"I'm so afriad he'll like disown me for it." Carmin said as she started to cry.

"He won't do that" he said

"How do you know?" Carmin sniffled.

"For one, he loves you. Two, you are his only girl. Three, you know dad doesn't get mad easily" he told

"Let's not forget about Dustin, Mr Overprotective." Carmin said.

"Imagine what he'll say." Carmin said.
