When The Time Runs Out. (After Katie attacked Torrie, when Randy lies came out)

Torrie just wrapped her arms around John's neck falling into his strong embrace wanting to be close to him. Her back shuddered gently as she cried.

"It's okay, I'm here." John said before he kissed Torrie on her temple.

Torrie held unto John as she slowly stopped crying. John lied her back gently down on the bed knowing she needed a lot of strength, he sat beside her and kissed her hand not ever going to leave her.

"Mr Cena" The doctor spoke quietly seeing Torrie asleep.

"Yeah?" John asked.

"Could I talk to you for a moment?" The doctor asked while Torrie laid peacefully asleep seemed the pain had died down but sure as hell wasn't over for her.

"Sure." John muttered.

John gently put Torrie's hand on her midsection as she laid asleep before he left with the doctor. Doctor Smith shut Torrie's door quietly so it didn't wake her up.

"John, it's worse than we thought...really bad" He spoke, secretly Katie listened behind the wall.

"How bad?" John asked with concern.

"One of the disc's in Torrie's back has collapsed the other is rubbing against her spine" The doctor told John making Katie just put her hand around her mouth to stop herself from sobbing so John didn't notice her.

"Can you help her?" John asked with worry.

"Oh my god!" Katie thought.

"Yes there is surgery but....there's over 80 per cent chance she'll be parylsed" The doctor spoke softly.

John looked down with tears in his eyes.

"What if we don't do the surgery?" John asked.

Katie looked down with tears rolling down her cheeks, not able to believe what she's done.

"Constant pain, black outs...and soon it will set her life in danger" The doctor spoke.

John closed his eyes feeling tears in his eyes.

"Do..do the surgery." John muttered.

"Do you want me to tell Torrie, do you want too?" The doctor asked.

John knew he had to tell Torrie even though it breaks his heart to do so.

"I will, I know I have to." John said.

"Okay," The doctor nodded before he walked away leaving John standing in the corridor while he looked at his sleeping wife in the bed in the view of the window it just broke his heart thinking what he's gonna have to do.

John sighed before he walked into the room again and sat down by Torrie.

John gently stroked her beautiful blonde hair as she laid asleep.

Torrie's eyes fluttered open as she moaned softly awakening from her sleep. She saw John there, and smiled a little "Hey, sorry I fell...asleep" Torrie muttered with a faint smile.

"It's okay." John muttered.

Torrie looked at John.

"How are you feeling?" John asked trying to fight the tears in his eyes.

"A little better, when I can leave because I know you'll take care of me" Torrie spoke with a bright smile that she could manage right now.

"Not very soon...I have something...to tell you." John muttered.

Torrie looked at John as she sat up gradually as much as she could.

"Okay, is everything okay?" Torrie asked.

John sighed before he took a deep breath.

"You have to have surgery." John muttered.

Tears started to rise in her eyes.

"S..ur...gery" Torrie spoke.

John nodded his head but he couldn't finds the words to tell her the rest.
