"What are you doing? and...what's that?" Torrie asked seeing the meduim sized notebook in his hands.

"What?" Torrie asked softly as she regoncised the book.

"I'm reading your notebook, I didn't know you wrote all of this." John said.

"Ooh...that was a long time ago., I thought I threw it all away" Torrie spoke as she brushed back her blonde hair taking her jumper from John.

"Ooh...I don't remember what I wrote..." Torrie spoke.

Torrie slowly took the familiar baby blue notebook.

"You read everything?" Torrie asked.

"Mostly, you really were there when I had surgery?" John asked.

Torrie nodded "Yeah, both times shoulder and neck but you weren't awake" Torrie said gently. "I watched over you" Torrie added.

"Actually I was for the neck one, I remember because Maria gave me pie." John said.

Tears rose in Torrie's eyes.

"You remember...her but you don't remember me being there" Torrie spoke as she went out of the room and went downstairs but to stop on the 3 step. She sat down and cried.

"I wasn't wake when you came, when I woke up after the surgery Maria was there then when she left I fell asleep." John said.
