Why Push Me Away?

Lindsay sat down on the swing and read her Shakespeare book....again.

She sighed when she saw Kayla walk in the yard.

"Kayla?" Lindsay asked.

Kayla walked down the stairs, in her blue jeans, a black jumper with white fluffy boots.

"What?" She asked, sitting on the seperate swing, listening to her music.

"Why do you hate me so much?" Lindsay asked.

Kayla rolled her eyes.

"Oh my god.. talk about paranoid I don't hate you, I just don't know you" Kayla spoke back before she started to swing.

"So get to know me." Lindsay said.

"Err No thanks..." Kayla spoke, before she scoffed swinging.

"Why not?"

"Because I don't get on with some bookworm tramp, that just barged her way in to my family!" Kayla snapped with her eyes flaring of anger.

"I didn't ask for Torrie to find me." Lindsay said.

"Well then barge your way out of my family" Kayla spok.

"They want me here!" Lindsay said as she tried to hide the tears in her eyes.

"Who!" Kayla spoke before her hands met her hips.

"Everybody but you!" Lindsay said.

"John and Torrie are my parents not yours!"

"They love me..."

"Love you? honey you think they love you well they don't" Kayla spoke.

Lindsay ran back into the house and slammed her bedroom door, falling crying on her bed.

"You think they love you, honey they pity you" Kayla spoke.

"But you won't be here for much longer" She said before a smile went across her face going into her own bedroom when she heard a text from Ella.

Lindsay continued to cry on her bed, she looked at the locket and the charm Torrie had given her whenever she feels like she don't belong. Lindsay continued to stare, and found herself choose Torrie's silver charm.

Lindsay sighed.

"What if she's right?" Lindsay thought.
