John groaned as he rested his head on a pillow.

Torrie watched John slowly lie back down on the sofa after he sacrifriced for Torrie, their unborn baby.

"What's hurting you?" Torrie asked gently while she sat down next to him.

Torrie looked at John, before she gently lifted up his black t shirt up to inspect the damage to his ribs.

"It's a bit bruised but I think you'll live" Torrie spoke sweetly before she kissed his stomach gently.

"Ooh I'll go and get the recipe book your mom gave me" Torrie said.

"My mom gave you a recipe book?"

Torrie nodded "Uh huh, how else do you think I've gotten better in my cooking skills" Torrie spoke.

"Are you sure it's the whole book?" John asked.
