Because Of You.

Torrie's eyelashes perked up at the white door in front of her. It took moments before her eyes lowered back down, she knocked on her husband's office door and waited.

"Come in,"

Torrie grinned faintly, still having the hidden fear within her body since she had a stalker that John knew nothing about. She creaked open the door, and smiled "Hey," Torrie spoke, forcing a fake smile to widen.

John looked up.

"Hey." John said.

Torrie stared at John, before she lowered her head grasping unto her purse where her secret lies. John looked up at Torrie since she hadn't said a word.

"Are you okay?" John asked.

Torrie lowered her head, before a smile went across her face.

"Yeah, sweetie I'm fine" Torrie spoke.

John stared at Torrie before he could see the hidden fear rise in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" John asked.

"Nothing..." Torrie spoke.

"So how's work going?" Torrie asked, with a faint smile forming on her face.

"Okay, how are you?" John asked.

Torrie looked at John, before she slowly nodded her head.

"I'm alright," She muttered.

John looked at Torrie.

"You don't look it" John spoke, he leaned back on his chair still with his eyes on his timid wife.

"Tor what's going on?"

"Nothing, I gotta go plently of paperwork to do," Torrie spoke, she went to tun aroud until she heard John's voice.

"You just got here," John spoke.

Torrie looked to the wall, before a silent tear fell from her eyes as the secret inside, buried deep devouring Torrie's fear. She pulled out a note she got earlier in the week. "Tell him, he suffers for your mistake..." The word stripped across the paper, in the colour of dark red relating to danger.

"I have to leave you..."

"Leave me?"

"Yes," Torrie muttered before her head lowered down.

"What?" John asked with shock.

Torrie kept her head down.

"I'm sorry," Torrie muttered softly.

"You can't." John muttered.

Torrie turned from John's lost look in his eyes.

"I gotta do it, I'm sorry" Torrie spoke softly, she went to turn away but John stopped her.

"Please don't go." John said.

Torrie lowered her head, with a single tear falling down.

"I have too, it's for the best" Torrie muttered, before she grinned faintly in tears.

"No! I love you." John said.

"John, please don't make this harder than it already is..."

"Wait? I don't understand...are you breaking up with me?" John asked.

"Please John don't," Muttered Torrie.

"Torrie don't leave me." John pleaded.

"I'm sorry," Torrie muttered, she went to leave but John held unto her hand.

Her purse ended up falling to the floor, and secret photos spilled out of Torrie's purse, relating to the secret she had been keeping from John.

John grabbed the photos and looked at the them.

"What are these?" John asked.

Torrie felt her cheeks burn, while the desperation rose within.

"They are...well...their....nothing" Torrie spoke, as she gathered up all the photos and held them all together not wanting to know.

"Torrie what are they?" John asked sternly.

Torrie shrugged.

"Photos," She muttered.

John stared at Torrie, and then at the photos. They were filled with photos of her, it looked like something out of the ordinary.

"They're photos of you with Trish and they look strange." John said.
