Yes I finally have a new chapter for this story. lol. I hope you guys like this chapter but for any of you who haven't read this story, I suggest you read the other chapters before this one. As well as the background of the characters. Smile

Chapter Sixteen

Everyone looked on in shock as Katie’s blue eyes slowly opened and her hand stayed on Randy’s arm. They couldn’t believe after almost losing Katie they saw her awake, it felt like a dream.

Randy dropped the clipboard with the papers on it in shock and got down to his knees as he stared at Katie.

“Katie?” Randy asked.

Katie slowly moved her head and looked at Randy before a small smile appeared on her face.

“You didn’t actually think I’d leave you did you?” Katie asked.

Randy gulped as he felt tears in his eyes.

“I was thinking that you did honestly and it scared me, it scared all of us.” Randy said.

Katie looked around at everyone in the room and saw tears in everyone of their eyes.

“Katie don’t you ever do that to us again.” Ashley said before she gently hugged Katie.

“I didn’t want it to happen Ash, I didn’t shoot myself.” Katie muttered.

Katie looked around and saw John sitting in a wheelchair.

“John Felix Anthony Cena what the hell do you think you’re doing? You should be in a hospital bed.” Katie said.

“Hey don’t go motherly on me, Torrie already does that enough.” John said.

“Excuse me?” Torrie asked as she smacked John on the back of his head.

“Hey I got shot a couple of hours ago you can’t hit me.” John said.

Katie chuckled a little before she looked at Randy.

“I love you.” Katie muttered.

“I love you too.” Randy said before he kissed Katie.

A couple hours later Audrey was in Ben’s hospital room as she gently stroked his hair while the little boy slept. She looked at her cell phone and thought about Brendon. With a small sigh she picked up her cell phone and texted Brendon.

Hey.

Audrey waited a couple seconds before she got a reply.

Can we talk later?

Audrey looked at the text with tears in her eyes with the feeling in her heart that Brendon was with another woman right now.

You’re with another woman aren’t you?

Audrey looked with sadness at her phone as she received a reply.

I’m sorry.

Audrey looked down at the floor as she felt tears roll down her cheeks. She then dialed Brendon’s cell phone number and waited for Brendon to answer.

“Audrey I can’t…” Brendon started before he was interrupted.

“Don’t talk just listen.” Audrey said.

She paused and bit down gently on her bottom lip then moved a strand of her pink hair out of her face before she started singing a song by Carrie Underwood called You Won’t Find This.

Audrey paused before closing her eyes and let the tears fall from her eyes before she continued singing.

Audrey opened her eyes and didn’t wait for a response as she hung up on Brendon before turning her phone off, shutting him out of her life for the night and maybe for the rest of her life.

Ashley was sitting on the hospital bed with Katie as they watched House on the tv.

“Are you okay?” Ashley asked.

“Yeah I’ll be fine, what about you?” Katie asked.

“I’ll be okay. You know you scared me before when you almost died. You’re like a sister to me and my best friend in the whole world Katie and I can’t imagine what I would do without you.”

“You won’t have to worry, I’m not dieing anytime soon.” Katie said with a smile.

“Good. You know I can see you with Randy for the rest of your life.” Ashley said.

“You said that before with Pete and look what happened.” Katie said.

“I didn’t mean it then.” Ashley said.

“What?” Katie asked confused.

“I knew Pete would screw up in someway to lose you and completely tear you both apart. I knew if you both met up one day it wouldn’t last because Pete would do something stupid.”

“Well you were right.” Katie said.

“Randy is sweet though, I know you both will live happily ever after.” Ashley said.

“So will you and Ryan.” Katie said.

Ashley smiled before she hugged Katie.

“Best friends forever?” Ashley asked.

“Best friends forever.” Katie said with a smile.

Meanwhile Randy and Ryan were outside of the Katie’s room talking.

“You okay?” Ryan asked.

“Yeah, just a little shaken up after almost losing Katie.” Randy said.

“That was really scary, I thought we would have had to say goodbye.” Ryan said.

“I know and I don’t think I would have been able to sign those papers if she didn’t wake up.” Randy said.

“Well you don’t have to think about that now because she’s alive and is not going to die anytime soon.” Ryan said.

“Thank god because I have an important question to ask her.” Randy said.

“What’s the question?” Ryan asked.

Randy put his hand in his pocket before he pulled something out.

“I’m going to ask…”

Next Time: Audrey goes on her first date since leaving Brendon but will Brendon accept a life without Audrey? Katie sees Pete in jail a week after he shot her before she gets a huge surprise from Randy.
