5 Months Along (Randy and Katie find out the sex of their baby)

Katie looked at Randy as he tapped the chair handle. She was in blue jeans, a light blue shirt that went over her baby bump, and white sandals. Today they were going to find out if the baby was a boy or girl and she could tell Randy was nervous but it was starting to get on her nerves. Katie took Randy's hand with her left hand as her right hand rested comfortably on her stomach.

"Randy sweetie I know you're nervous but if you don't stop that I'll cut your hand off." Katie said with a fake smile as her hormones kicked in.

"Hey, there's no need for that" Randy spoke as he crossed his arms.

"There will be a need for it if you keep tapping your fingers on the chair handle." Katie said.

She smiled when she felt the baby kicking then looked at Randy.

"Want to feel the baby?" Katie asked.

"Depends on your hormones, because the last time you almost bent my hand back" Randy spoke.

Katie smiled.

"I'm in good mood for right now, come on." Katie said as she grabbed Randy's hand then put it gently down on her stomach.

Randy grinned when he felt the baby kicking.

"That's amazing" He spoke with a gentle kiss on Katie's lips.

"It truly is isn't it?" Katie asked as her smile widened.

She lied her head on Randy's shoulder as she looked at him.

"I love you and our baby so much." Katie said.

Randy smiled at Katie.

"I love you and the baby so much too, why do you think I've done all I can to protect you both because you both mean everything to me" Randy spoke truthfully.

"You are so sweet." Katie said.

"Is there a Mrs. Orton here?"

Katie looked over.

"That's me." Katie said with a smile.

She looked back over at Randy.

"Ready to find out if it's a boy or a girl?" Katie asked.

Randy chuckled with a nod.

"I'm more than ready" He helped Katie out of the seat, even if her hormones kicked in he's still gonna be there for and the baby.

Katie kissed Randy softly on the lips after he helped her up.

"Thank you." Katie said.

Randy and her then followed the nurse to a room and Katie sat down on a chair as they waited for the doctor.

"So name's....if it's a girl I was thinking Lacey" Randy said as he put his hands on her wooden rests.

"That's cute, what about if it's a boy?" Katie asked.

Randy looked at the wall before he turned back to Katie.

"I don't know, any ideas?" Randy asked.

Katie thought for a second.

"I like Anthony for a boy's name." Katie said.

"That's good, what about Bob?" Randy asked.

Katie looked at Randy as if he was nuts.

"Bob?" Katie asked.

"What? what's wrong with Bob? it's my dad's name" Randy spoke to his wife.

"I'm not naming our child Bob." Katie said.

She saw Randy looking at her with his arms crossed.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm the one who's going to have to go through the pain of giving birth to a baby in four months." Katie said.

"Robert..Anthony?" Randy asked with a shrug.

Torrie's head leaned back on the sofa while she looked at John. "Leave her alone, she's sleeping" Torrie spoke to her husband while John stared at a week old Kelly Anne.

"Anthony Robert." Katie said then smiled.

"I like that." Katie said.

"I just want to hold her." John said.

"I prefer it the other way around," Randy spoke.

Torrie let out a soft breath before she grinned faintly. "I know you do, but she's asleep so leave her alone to sleep" Torrie spoke.

"You know what I'd prefer? If men were the ones to have the babies so us women wouldn't have to deal with all the pain of being in labor!" Katie snapped.

She thought for a second then smirked.

"She can still sleep while I hold her." John said.

"You wake her up, she'll be screaming her lungs out" Torrie warned John.

John shrugged and went into the room where the small crib, with white lace around it with a sleeping angel in the crib.

Torrie just shook her head with a soft giggle before she opened a Vogue Magazine.

"What?" Randy asked.

Katie continued smirking.

"Oh you will see what I have planned after the appointment." Katie said as she sat comfortable in her seat.

She then saw her doctor come in.

"Hello Katie how are you today?"

"I'm great, thank you." Katie said with a smile.

"Have you punted anyone recently Randy?"
