Shall We Dance? (Ted & Maryse Romantic Evening)

Ted stood in the bedroom, buttoning the last button on his black dress shirt. He used his right hand to fix the left cuff on the shirt, then repeated the motion with the opposite hand.

He smoothed his hair over with his hands, making sure every last inch of himself was perfect for tonight.

Finally, after giving himself the approval, he grabbed his comfortable brown leather jacket, drapped it over his shoulders and exited the room.

Maryse stood in front of the mirror.

She stared into it with passion, wanting to look her best for Ted.

It had been a long time since she and him had ever went out together, let alone said more than three words that weren't I love you.

She adjusted the top of her strapless ruffled lace dress, which she bought recently on a shopping trip with Kelly.

Maryse ran her hands through her hair.

'perfect.' She thought in her head.

She walked to where she kept her precious pieces of jewelry. She picked the necklace ted bought her and placed it around her neck. Followed by a diamond bracelet.

Finally she grabbed her leather zip jacket from BeBe and put it on.

After looking in the mirror one last time, she exited the room and trotted down the stairs, a real smile on her face.

Ted stood at the bottom of the stairs.

He looked at his silver rollex, not wanting to be late for the reservations he made at The French Room

He checked his watch again, but looked up when he felt another person enter the room.

He stared amazed at her.

"Bautiful" he said stunned.

Maryse's smile brightened as she stood at the bottom step.

"I'm ready" she announced

"You look great baby" she said, eying him over, noticing his sexiness was maximized.

Ted grinned, "You look stunning" he told, extending his hand to her.

She took it and slowly walked down the stairs with his help.

"Thank you" Maryse kindly told.

"I can't wait for tonight, I've really been wanting to spend more time with you"

"I know. It's long overdue" Ted agreed

Maryse smiled, slightly giggling.

"Yes it is" she told

"So where are we going?" she asked curiously.

Ted smirked, "I guess if you want to know we better get a move on then." Ted said.

Maryse dopped her jaw, "That's not fair" Maryse joked.

"Haven't you heard, sometimes life isn't fair" he told, deciding to withhold the information from her. He smiled and chuckled as he took her hand in his and began walking towards the door with her.

"C'est une bonne chose je vous aime, ou bien nous serions ainsi finis en ce moment. Qui sont je le fait de charrier, je serais toujours avec vous, vous êtes la seule personne qui me faisait jamais vraiment aimer quelqu'un plus que moi." Maryse spoke in her native language, grinning as a confused face appeared on Ted.

Ted turned his attention to her, as he opened the door, a lost look on his face.

"What did all of that mean? I heard I love you, but that's all I know" he said.

Maryse smirked, "Well if you want to know, I guess you should start learning French faster" she told, getting him back for his prank earlier.

"Game, match, point" he told, meaning the score was even.

"Okay, you got everything you need? Make-up, jacket, jewelry" he asked as the door stood open.

"I have you, and that's all I need baby" she said as she leaned into him.

Ted grinned from ear to ear, "Nice answer honey" he said as he welcomed her closer to his body.

"Well, I'm good too. So lets go" he said, leading her out the door and to his black car.

He walked to the passenger side and opened the door for Maryse, letting her get in first. He shut the door once she was in, then he walked to the driver's side and got in, starting the car and took off.

"okay, not knowing is killing me!" Maryse stated.

Ted chuckled softly as he made a right turn, "We're almost there baby" he answered her.

"Really?" she asked with anticipation

"baby, I promise you, we're almost there" he told with a grin.

Maryse sighed, a long sigh.

"Are we there yet?" she asked, literally a minute later.

Ted grinned, "Almost" he told

"The next turn I make will lead us to the parking lot" he said.

Maryse's eyes lit up when he turned into the hotel parking lot.

She knew exactly what was in this hotel.

"The French Room!" she said happily.

Ted laughed softly at her reaction

"Yes, happy?" he asked
