The Fear Of Me.

Torrie tucked her blonde hair behind her right ear, as she stared out of the window watching Lindsay play with Sarah in the back garden.

"Lindsay, can you push me on the swing?" Sarah asked sweetly holding her favourite teddy bear Mr Cuddles in her white dress with white tights, and her black coat with her blonde hair resting freely on her shoulders.

"Sure Sarah." Lindsay said with a smile.

She sat her Shakespeare Book down in the grass and headed for the swings with Sarah.

Kayla's eyes followed her and Sarah, she had been the only one that hadn't accepted Lindsay. She just scoffed, and mocked Lindsay before she wrote down in her diary.

"Yay thank you," Sarah jumped on the swing with help from Lindsay.

"Do you like living with us?" Sarah asked, starting to push her little legs.

"Yeah I do." Lindsay said as she pushed Sarah.

"What do you think to Mommy and daddy?" Sarah asked.

"You mean our mom and dad, Sarah" Kayla spoke getting up from the grass, slightly glaring at Lindsay.

Lindsay sighed. She wasn't ready to call Torrie and John mom and dad.

"I like your parents, a lot." Lindsay said.

Sarah giggled before she continued to swing.

"Just remember, John and Torrie is our parents not yours" Kayla spoke in front of Lindsay.

"I know." Lindsay said.

Lindsay had been in different foster homes, until the papers were signed John and Torrie could give her up...or they could adopt her.

Kayla looked at Lindsay, before her hands met her hips.

"Good," She purposely knocked into Lindsay before she went to her spot, she listened to her music leaning on the grass.

Lindsay looked to grass, seeing her book on the floor. She wondered If Torrie and John would sign the papers letting her in their family or give her up.

Torrie continued to watch from the window, she waited for John to come home.

Lindsay smiled a sweet smile when she noticed a ladybug on the swing.

'Look Sarah, it's a ladybug." Lindsay said letting the creature crawl on her finger.

"My mom used to call me ladybug." Linday sighed.

"A ladybug..." Sarah spoke.

"My mommy calls me goldilocks as a nickname, and my daddy calls me Cutie pie" Sarah spoke with a smile.

"Eww, get that away from my sister" Kayla said, before she flicked it away.

Lindsay sighed as she felt her hand go around her mother's locket.

"I had a habit of running off, flying away like a ladybug." Lindsay said.

Kayla rolled her eyes, before she turned away.

"Oh so you like so hard done by" Kayla mumbled to herself.

"I think ladybug is a nice name," Sarah spoke before she hugged Lindsay.

"Thank you." Lindsay said as she hugged Sarah.

"My mom's name was Caroline, my dad's was Trent." Lindsay said.

"Lindsay Elaine Carmichael is my whole name." Lindsay said.

"Mine's Sarah Louise Cena" Sarah spoke smiling.

"Can we hunt for more ladybugs?" Sarah smiled.

"Sure." Lindsay said.

"I love ladybugs, see." Lindsay said, showing Sarah her ladybug locket.

"Aww wow! are they your mommy and daddy?" Sarah asked seeing the small photos in the locket.

Lindsay nodded.

"The ring and the other locket around my neck were thiers." Lindsay said.

"That's nice," Sarah smiled.

Torrie stepped out unto the porch in her white trousers, black sandals and a black polo neck with her blonde hair in curls.

"What are you two up to?" Torrie asked with a smile.

"Going Ladybug hunting." Lindsay smiled.

"Ladybug hunting?" Torrie asked.

"Yeah Lindsay taking me," Sarah spoke with a smile, while Kayla just mocked Lindsay before going back to writing her story.

"Ooh, well what do you girls want for dinner?" Torrie asked, she then turned to Lindsay.

"You pick Sarah, I don't really care; food is food to me." Lindsay said.

Torrie looked at Lindsay.

"Are you sure there's nothing you like, not your favourite?" Torrie asked.

"When you've had to eat out of a dumpster, you can't be picky." Lindsay said.

"What about Jackie Potato, with cheese, beans and coleslaw that's what Kay is having, and Sarah is having her usual" Torrie spoke with a smile.
