Taking a Break

Candice Michelle Bautista hit the lock button on her keypad and watched the lights on her black Honda flash as the car locked itself. Smiling in satisfaction, the Candy-coated Diva turned back towards Milo's Restaurant.

As a new mom, a wife and WWE Diva, Candice's schedule was airtight and today was the first time since Aidan's birth that she had an afternoon completely to herself. Dave was with Aidan, she had no photoshoots or autograph signings, just an afternoon outside her roles as mom, wife and Diva.

Dressed in a blue sundress and white flip flops, Candice entered the restaurant and a bright smile crossed her face as she recognized one of her favorite people in the world in the waiting area.

"Hey!" She cried, stepping forward to embrace her friend.

Mickie was standing in the waiting area, ready to have lunch with herself, when she saw Candice walk in. She smiled and hugged Candice.

"Hey!" She smiled. "How have you been?" Mickie hadn't seen much or heard much of Candice since Mickie was switched to Smackdown.

"Busy." Candice smiled brightly at Mickie. "How about you? How's SmackDown treating you?"

"Anyone mind if I join?"

"Pretty good, I can't complain. How has Raw been for you?" She asked. "Hey Kelly, and of course not." Mickie smiled.

"Kelly! Hey! Of course you can join!" Candice grinned at her best friend. "And to answer your question Mickie, Raw's been fine. Maryse is annoying, but what else is new? She is made of plastic after all." She joked. "So any exciting news with you girls?"

"Thanks Candy" Kelly told, taking a seat with them.

Kelly laughed at Candice's comment, "Yeah, it's Maryse, everything that comes out of her mouth she has to fabricate it. When can call her the plastic surgeon of words." Kelly told

"Not much really is up with me" she told

Candice laughed. "That's a good one, Kel. I'll have to remember that next time I have a run in with her."

"How about you, Mickie? Any good gossip? I'm dying here. I've got so much on my plate I can't keep up with everyone else and I used to be on top of everything." She joked.

Mickie laughed a bit at the Maryse comments.

"Well for starters, I'm dating someone now. I think you guys know who, he's only the most perfect guy, ever." She smiled.

Kelly laughed along with Candice

"She's lost a few steps in her greatness, didn't I tell you that would happen" Kelly told

Candice smiled at Kelly. "You better be talking about Maryse and not me...I'm still great...for the most part." She laughed.

"And no Mickie, I didn't know you were seeing anyone? Who?" Candice asked eagerly. "Tell me!"

"Mhm. We just started dating." Mickie said. "Well it's, Randy." Mickie was unable not to smile.

Candice stared at Mickie for a moment in surprise. "Randy, as in Randy Orton?! I didn't even know you two knew each other that well? When did this happen? I'm so out of the loop!"

"Wow!" Kelly told. out of the loop as well

Candice glanced at Kelly in concern, remembering the blonde's history with the Legend Killer, but was happy to see Kelly smiling and looking curious rather than hurt. Refocusing on Mickie, Candice grinned. "Come on, dish!"

"We didn't know eachother much, at all. But we ended up running into eachother at the beach and he told me he always had a thing for me and next thing I knew, we were dating." She explained.

"But I mean it's perfect, I really like this guy, you know?"

Kelly scratched her head, hmm heard that before Kelly thought to herself.

"That's great" she told with a smile.

Candice shared a knowing look with Kelly, hoping that Randy wasn't back to his player ways and was being serious with Mickie. "Well, if he makes you happy, I'm happy."

"Me too" Kelly told

"All right Kelly, I know you too well, and you're a little too happy, what are you hiding from me?" Candice teased. "And I know it's guy related! You're turn to spill."

Mickie smiled at Kelly and Candice. "Thanks you guys and yes its defitnely someone elses' turn to spill." She laughed as she looked over at Kelly.

Kelly smiled

"What, I can't be really happy anymore" she giggled a little.

She laughed. "Yeah, but there's usually a really good reason behind it whenever a girl is happy. So, spill it."

"Okay, well maybe there is someone......" Kelly told.

Mickie slightly laughed. "I knew it! So, who's the lucky guy?"
