From Brother to Sister

Jeff has been running crazy lately, trying to make room for his wife best friend and kids that he ever barely had a chance to talk to his sister. He had no idea what was going on with her lately so, taking out the time of his and her busy schedule Jeff invited Katie, to lunch so they could catch up.

He had heard crazy rumors, such as she was dating Randy Orton, and nonsense of the sort. He hadn't heard the news from her so chose not to pay any attention to it, but if it was true he would be infurated that he wasn't one of the first to know.

Jeff entered the resturant with a smile as he searched around for Katie, hoping she was already there??????????????

Katie was sitting at a booth and looking out the window as she waited for Jeff. She looked away from the window to see if Jeff was at the door and smiled when he was.

"Jeff." Katie said as she waved him over to where she was sitting.

Jeff smiled and approached the table his little sister was sitting at "Hey Katie" Jeff smiled as she stood up to hug him "I'm glad we have time to do this" Jeff said sitting across from her

Katie hugged Jeff back, even though he might have not known it being with her brother was the comfort she needed right now. After Randy cheating on her with Mickie and spraining her ankle days before WrestleMania it felt like nothing was going right in her life. Katie kept her injured ankle up a little so she wasn't leaning on it though because being the stubborn girl that she is she wanted to be at WrestleMania and wrestle and was hoping he wasn't told it. She sat back down on her seat and smiled as Jeff sat across from her.

"I'm happy that we're spending time together too, I've missed my crazy skittle loving brother." Katie said with a small chuckle.

"I've missed you too, I missed everyone...what have you been up too" Jeff asked

"A lot. Some good and some bad. Right now mostly bad." Katie admitted.

Jeff took the menu away from his face and directed all of his attention to Katie. "I'm listening" he said

Katie sighed feeling tears in her eyes as she told Jeff the recent events in her life.

"Well first I was dating Randy Orton before he cheated on me then I went to the beach and ended up spraining my ankle. The only good thing right now in my life is that I'm in the money in the bank match at WrestleMania." Katie said.

"Wait...what...how long have you been seeing Orton" Jeff said infurated and confused

"A couple weeks, almost a month." Katie said.

"A MONTH" Jeff raised his voice as eyes in the resturant stared at the siblings. Jeff noticed this and began to use his inside voice again "A month and your just now telling me" he whispered with harshness in his voice

"Hey! I tried to tell you but you weren't around and you never picked up the phone when I tried to call you." Katie said.

"Oh please Katie...when i did get around to calling yopu back you act as though you didn't want to answer your phone either" Jeff shot back "And through phone is not the only way to get to me especially with news like this you could have emailed..or even text I was bound to read it sooner or later" Jeff said "But instead i heard it over seas and not from you" Jeff said un folding a sheet of paper that was in his pocket which was a torn out magazine article on the couple

Katie looked at the paper then at Jeff.

"Well if you cared at all you would have called me sooner to see what was going on in my life but you didn't." Katie said.

"Katie I don't even know who you are anymore" Jeff said "But I'm sure you jumped through hoops to tell Matt" Jeff harshly replied

"First of all I was never going to tell Matt because I knew how he would react but he found out when I accidentally let it slip. Second Matt's been here for me so much more then you have recently. When I was depressed and sitting out in the rain after Randy cheated on me I called you but you didn't pick up then I called Matt and he did. I always call you first Jeff!"

She gulped.

"Now you just don't pick up like you used to so it's no wonder that I've grown closer to Matt." Katie said.

"That's such BS Katie" Jeff said "You and Matt have always left me out of the equation...even when we were younger, it was all you and Matt you guys never included me" Jeff finally spoke out about something he held in for since his childhood "I've wanted you to confide in me for so long, and the one time you so called "wanted" me you KNEW i was un available"

Katie looked at Jeff.

"We tried to include you in a lot of things Jeff." Katie said.

"Yeah right....Even if I did come along with you two I was always the third wheel or the tag-a-long, and because dad always made you guys take me, it wasn't becuase you wanted to" Jeff said

"That's so not true Jeff and you know it." Katie said as she slightly glared at Jeff.

"You can sit here and deny it all you want but I know what I felt growing up...ME...AND ONLY ME" Jeff objected

Katie looked at Jeff.

"I'm sorry, I never...meant to make you feel that way." Katie said softly.

"I know Katie" Jeff calmed down on his sis "But I did...and I think that's why I'm so close to Candice, and treat her like my little sister, because she's always there for me no matter what"

"Oh so you've pretty much replaced me?" Katie asked with anger in her voice.

"No...I haven't replaced you" Jeff assured Katie
