Can't Love Him

Angel wheeled in her wheelchair alone on the beach.

Tears streamed down her cheeks. She always picked the wrong guy. After the last episode with Brian she had ended their relationship.

But she was falling for someone else.

Someone she couldn't be in love with.

Cody Rhodes.

A sweet smile went across Torrie's face, while she watched Princess, Goldilocks and Chloe play in the sand near the ocean as she took them out for a walk.

"Come here Chloe," Torrie knelt down, the sweet white puppy trotted over and waited for Torrie to pick her up.

"You're just like mommy you are," Torrie cooed to Chloe while she adjusted the silver chain collar John gave Chloe.

She threw a stick, and while her hair blew across her face she watched the stick hit a wheelchair.

Angel looked down when she felt something hit her chair.

She noticed the stick and tossed it in the oppisite direction.

Torrie watched princess, and Goldlilocks dash for the stick as it was thrown. Torrie looked for a moment, before she sighed when she realised it was Angel.

"Let's go and see Angel honey," Torrie spoke to Chloe.

"Growl," Chloe made a noise.

"Yeah, yeah I know" Torrie muttered, she walked up to Angel through the sand.

"Angel, fancy seeing you here" Torrie spoke with a small grin on her face.

"Oh, hey Torrie." Angel said softly.

Torrie looked at Angel.

"I'm sorry about the stick, I truly didn't know you were here" Torrie spoke.

"It's okay." Angel said, wiping some of her makeup from under her eyes.

"Are you okay?" Torrie asked gently while she held Chloe in her right hand.

"Yeah...I'm...I'm fine." Angel stammered.

Torrie looked at Angel for a moment before she pulled a packet of tissues out of her handbag.

"Here, it's better than your fingers" Torrie spoke.

"Thanks." Angel said taking the tissues.

She looked at the engagment ring she had picked up off the hospital floor the last time she'd seen Brian and tossed it into the ocean.

Torrie watched Angel throw something in the ocean.

"What was that?" Torrie asked.

"My engagment ring." Angel said.

"Brian and I are over." Angel said.

"Ooh, I'm sorry to hear that" Torrie spoke gently.

"He...beat me." Angel said.

"My babies too." Angel told Torrie as her eye welled with tears.

"Oh god," Torrie muttered.

Angel nodded.

"Poor Lily is still scared to death." Angel said.

Fury rose in Torrie's eyes.

"Don't tell me that bastard hit Lily?" Torrie asked.

Angel nodded.

"Brianna too." Angel said.

"Son of bitch!" Torrie cursed, Chloe started to struggle in Torrie's arms wanting to play with the other dogs.

"Alright princess" Torrie set Chloe down on the sand.

"Okay he's seriously getting fired," Torrie spoke.

"Lily's been staying with Cody these past few days." Angel said.

"It's the only place she feels safe." Angel told.

"Oh yeah, I thought I saw her when Lil and I went shopping in New York for the day" Torrie spoke.

Angel nodded.

"She refuses to leave Cody's side, she's afraid Brian will come back." Angel said.

"What about you?" Torrie asked.

"What, am I afraid?" Angel asked.

"Honestly, yes I am." Angel answered.
